With timeless collections in warm oak, we became a leading manufacturer throughout Europe.
Today we are known for our ultra-modular furniture collections in collaboration with Studio Segers . The timeless and sleek geometry with the square as foundation, forms the basis of our collections where customers can compose the furniture themselves according to their wishes and available space. A dream for those who are looking for authentic and original furniture of Belgian design. From sauna products to modern furniture manfucaturer.
Foundation of Saunaco by Jo Van Winkel. Production of Finnish sauna’s, furniture parts and customized assignments in Sint-Huibrechts-Lille.
Move to the halls of Tebro in Grote Brogel because of increased production of oak sofa frames.
Move to own premises in Kaulille; first fase 10.000m².
Peter Van Winkel (2nd generation) starts as production manager. 2nd phase 8.000m².
Peter buys Saunaco from his father Jo, the same year starting Rhino skateramps, now a renowned brand among skaters worldwide (parks in 40 countries).
Start production modular, oak living room collections for Benelux.
Investment in 185.000KWh solar panels and power generation from residual waste.
Start collaboration with Studio Segers to lift the furniture collections to a design level (LAYER/CAS).
First participation in international furniture fair in Cologne to convince the French, German and Swiss markets.
